Hardback. Celebrated Trials Series. Gen. Editor Jonathan Goodman. Walter Graham Rowland was born in 1908, and so was a man called David John Ware. At about the same time, a woman called Olive Balchin was born. These three people were totally unknown to each other until suddenly in 1946 their paths converged and the result was a unique murder story. Four years later Ware tried to kill a woman with a hammer in Bristol. He was found guilty but insane and sent to Broadmoor. So the question arose again. Who did kill Olive Balchin? Illus., Appendices. 164pp. 8vo. h/back. Nr. F. in Vg+ dw. which has the usual faded sp.
